db Landscaping LLC is a Landscape design NH company serving the New England region in particular the New Hampshire areas of Lake Sunapee, Lake Winnipesaukee, the seacoast including Portsmouth and Rye, Hanover, Concord, New London, Newbury, Warner, Sunapee, Hanover, Lebanon and Bow. In Vermont, we serve the central part of the state and area resort towns including Norwich, Quechee, Woodstock, Weathersfield, Stowe and Ludlow to name a few. We are dedicated to landscape design excellence, utilizing the latest in Architectural Landscape design ideas and proven installation techniques.

We are looking for an experienced STONEMASON to oversee the successful construction of our projects. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience as stone mason relating to: granite and ledge stone steps, flat work with multiple materials especially native stones, veneer, field stone and boulder walls. We primarily utilize granite, ledgestone, and field stone.
The ideal candidate will also have competency in the following areas relating to landscape construction and landscape project management: ability to train, work with and organize a team, ability to complete other landscape related tasks such as planting, low voltage lighting, grading and drainage, equipment operation, and plan reading.
The range of duties relating to the foreman position include yet is not limited to:
1. 7-10 years experience in the landscape construction field with a focus on masonry.
2. Competent with math in order to estimate projects, determine grades, and order materials.
3. Ability to sequence construction projects in order to meet deadlines and budgets.
4. Experience with successful management of small construction crews.
5. Knowledge of equipment operations and ability to run and maintain small and large equipment.
6. Work efficiently is all weather conditions including hot and humid or cold and rainy days.
7. Repeatedly life and carry 50 pounds or more.
8. Work long days (9-12 hours) during the spring, summer and fall and some weekends (winter employment possible for responsible and motivated individuals).
9. Effectively communicate with and respect all staff, vendors and clients.
10. Work efficiently while maintaining the quality of our products.
11. Ability to motivate, train and keep other employees on tasks.
12. Be prompt for work each day, not miss excessive workdays and have reliable transportation to the shop
or job sites.
13. High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a positive attitude necessary.
