Systems/Network Administrator

Nationwide Power is looking to further grow our IT Department. As a crucial piece to the foundation of the organization, we are involved in keeping all of NP’s many departments up and running. JOB DESCRIPTION

• Position is onsite at our corporate office in Henderson, Nevada
• Manage Deploy and Monitor network Infrastructure
• Windows & Linux Servers
• Docker Images/Containers
• Windows Workstations
• Manage Backups
• iSCSI / NAS
• Backup jobs, Retention Schedule, Recovery Time
• Test Restores
• Manage RMM software for local/remote Servers and workstations.
• Manage Policies and Patches
• Equipment Management
• Workstation teardown and setup
• Minor Moves, adds, and changes
• Helpdesk
• Assisting users with minor questions, or issues with day-to-day applications

DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Engaging personality with superb communication skills to talk with end users in a positive way.
• 10 years’ proven experience with LAN and WAN administration, as a Systems Administrator, Network Administrator or similar position.
• Active Directory, DNS, DHCP
• Certifications are a plus (e.g., Microsoft, CompTIA, VCP)
• Windows Administrator installs, configures, and maintains Windows Operating Systems
• Linux Administrator installs, configures, and maintains Linux Operating Systems
• Strong understanding of computer network infrastructure.
• VMware Administrator: Experience Host management, Virtual Machines, Vcenter
• Experience with Hyper-V, migrations
• Ability to work with all levels of IT and non-technical staff both inside and outside of our organization including off-site remote workers.

HOURS:

7:00AM - 3:30PM Monday through Thursday

6:00AM - 1:00PM Friday
