Tarp and Safety Lane Inspector Technician Job at Roehl Transport
The Opportunity:
As a Tarp Repair and Safety Lane Inspector Technician, you make a difference by repairing the tarps used by our flatbed drivers to protect our customer's freight, issuing, and transferring equipment to our drivers, managing equipment inventory, and supporting the maintenance manager. You also inspect our trucks and trailers as they enter our facility and look for mechanical deficiencies that need to be addressed.
You create Driver Success by ensuring that our drivers have the proper and well-maintained equipment to do their work.

We are looking for someone with good mechanical aptitude with the willingness and ability to learn proper repair techniques. In addition, you will need a valid and current driver's license and can lift 75 lbs.
The Experience:
This is an entry-level position and an excellent opportunity for someone with a high level of mechanical aptitude but who has not had formal education or experience in a diesel shop. We will provide you with the necessary training to be successful.
The Schedule:
You will work 5:00 am till 1:30 pm Monday - Friday.
