Position Summary:
The Textile Production Manager must possess strong textile knowledge, creativity, and forward vision to support the company's growth initiatives with a consumer-centric mindset.
Specific Responsibilities:
- Build trusting relationships with associates and site leadership
- Work autonomously and drive results to reach daily production, efficiency and waste goals
- Communicate effectively with department supervisors, department managers, and associates.
- Engage, develop, and attract diverse associates to achieve facility goals
- Provide feedback, instruction, and development guidance to help others excel in their current or future job responsibilities.
- Facilitate daily, weekly, etc. meetings with team members.
- Ensure all machines are producing first-quality fiber.
- Complete daily and weekly reports.
- Issue any corrective action as needed.
- Troubleshoot run ability issues as needed.
- Initiate and document the initial investigation of safety and environmental issues.
Required Qualifications:
- Proven expertise with yarn, weaving, knitting, dye, or wet finishing
- Understanding of textile design, development, and manufacturing processes
- Strong analytical and organization skills
- Strong communication, persuasion, and presentation skills; ability to regularly interface with and influence senior management
Preferred Qualifications:
- BA, BS, ME, EE, PE, or a combination of education and experience deemed equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
