We have a challenging opportunity for Tour Guide / Hospitality Customer Service in our Louisiana Spirits Distillery site located in Lacassine, Louisiana. We require the minimum age of 18 with the ability to pass drug screening and back-ground check.

The role will ultimately be responsible for performing distillery tours to customers which includes highest possible customer service from start to finish including customer service throughout the visitor center.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

· Open/Close Tasting Bar and Viewing room

· Meet/Greet visitors

· Prepare tastings & manage bar inventory

· Learn, perform, conduct, & coordinate distillery tours, VIP tours, and tastings

· Manage potential tour companies and share information to tour providers

· Assist with special events as needed

· Assist as needed with Gift Shop and Event Center tasks

· Keep bar area and equipment clean – (Bar is to be tidy without dishes left out and floor clean)

· Comply with our safety and work rules to ensure the well-being of others and to work in a positive work environment

· Perform other duties as required or assigned

Knowledge and Skill

· POS & Computer proficiency sourcing

· Luxury retail, restaurant, bar, and hospitality experience

· Strong judgment and professional maturity with achieving results

· Excellent problem solving & communication skills

· Demonstrated ability to plan and manage multiple responsibilities in a rapidly changing environment

· High School diploma or equivalent

· Minimum age 18 with valid driver's license

Physical Demands

· Able to stand for long periods of time on hard surfaces

· Must be able to lift 50 lbs

General Responsibilities:

· Must be able to work day-shift, weekends, Holiday’s, and occasional nights for special events as needed

· Follows instructions and performs other duties as may be assigned by supervisor

· Assists other employees in accomplishment of company goals

· Participates in and completes company-required training programs

· Provides own transportation to and from distillery

· Participates in Environmental, Health and Safety initiatives as set forth by the company

Compensation:

The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary in 26 biweekly (twice a month) payments each pay period. Louisiana Spirits LLC will provide healthcare insurance for the employee with an option for dependents to be paid by the individual. Paid time off after probationary period which includes personal/sick, vacation, and holiday’s.
