Training & Development Manager Job at Seminole Tribe of Florida
The incumbent in this position manages and coordinates the overall development and deliverables for the Training & Technical Services of the Seminole Tribe of Florida (STOF) Native Learning Center (NLC), by providing knowledge and skills that improve quality of life through Housing related educational and training programs to Native Americans, Tribes, Tribal communities, and those working within Tribal communities. The incumbent has oversight of all training and technical assistance opportunities for topics supporting the primary objectives of the Native American Housing Assistance and Self Determination Act of 1996. (NAHASDA). The individual is responsible for supervising a network of staff, volunteers, vendors, contracted and in-kind instructors, and subject matter experts who will assist in the development and implementation of course curriculum, training materials, presentations, schedules, reviews, and evaluations for both on-site and off-site sessions, as well as online offerings of podcasts, webinars, and virtual trainings in any delivery platform or system. Bachelor’s Degree preferred or a minimum of five (5) years experience in similarly related field. Professional experience in developing and facilitating training programs is required. Prior experience in Indian Country; Knowledge of Native American Indian Culture and Native American Indian History; knowledge of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) allowable costs and NAHASDA; experience in Indian Housing related programs, such as: Tribally Designated Housing Entity (TDHE’s); Tribal Housing Departments; Indian Housing Block Grant (IHBG), etc. are highly desired, but not required. Possession of a valid Florida Driver's License is required. Must demonstrate excellent computer skills utilizing Microsoft and IOS software programs such as Excel, Word, Power Point, Publisher, Adobe, and other add-ins. Must demonstrate excellent organizational, interpersonal and customer service skills. Must be able to work a flexible work schedule including evenings, weekends, and travel to other locations as required.

Pay: $79,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
