Utility Hand Job at Martin Resource Management Corp
SUMMARY
Utility Hand (dock hand) manages the day-to-day loading and unloading of cargo throughout the facility. The dock associates carefully handle our customers' cargo utilizing modern equipment such as rigging and powered forklifts.
- Keep log on all equipment used including work activity, jobs for the customers.
- Cargo Manifest for cargo being sent off shore
- Make listing for all incoming equipment
- Make forms for all upcoming jobs
- Complete diesel tickets before fueling job starts to ensure accurate information
- Make out lube tickets
- Monthly inventory
- Weekly tank inventory
- Track waste oil and filter drums
- Daily and weekly inspections on cranes hysters
- Gauge tank daily
- Terminal inspections .
- Tank inspections
- Dike inspections
- Table top exercise
- Boom inspections
- Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds
- Must be able to climb ladders and stairs
- Must be able to perform calculations for inventory control
- This position works a 7/7schedule
- Applicants must either have or be able to acquire a TWIC card.
- Rigging and or forklift experience is preferred but not required.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
High School Graduate or equivalent. Semi skilled or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
