Valet Manager

Position Summary

The Valet Manager assists with daily tasks and operations. Responsible for assisting in the supervision of parking facilities, employees, and valet parking operations, ensuring superior service to all patrons and guests visiting the VA facility. As Manager, you will provide safe, high quality, VIP customer service to every customer to fulfill overall valet parking customer satisfaction for VAMC as needed.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Completion of the daily and weekly valet parking services usage report. Weekly valet parking services usage reports are turned in on the last workday of each week.
• Ensure scheduled Valet Attendants are available for daily operations based on the weekly published schedule.
• Always confirm schedule coverage and manage overflow operations to ensure contract performance.
• Receive and investigate any reports of valet parking area violators and / or incidents. Document and report parking area violators and incidents.
• Identify and report any suspicious persons, behavior, and / or activity.
• At the beginning of each shift, conduct a physical inspection of all physical areas valet parking service is responsible:
  • Valet staging areas
  • Valet parking areas
• Ensure any shift preventative / normal maintenance for valet parking services is executed.
• Ensure cleanliness and safety of valet staging and parking areas.
• Manage valet staging/parking areas for hazards, needed maintenance repairs.
• Manage safety of valet staging and parking areas for hazards and needed maintenance repairs.
• Resolve any valet staging or parking area minor unsatisfactory conditions.
• Resolve any valet parking services Customer issues.
• Responsible for ensuring all duties and responsibilities for the Valet Attendant are carried out in accordance with their job description and Company policies.

Requirements and Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)

• Associate degree.
• Valid, clean state Driver's License.
