The Basics: This is an in-office position located at the Acme Tools corporate office in Grand Forks, ND. Working in Grand Forks is required at this time. Typical hours for this position are Monday-Friday 8am-5pm.

What You’ll Take Ownership Of:

In this role, you will be responsible for creating visually appealing and user-friendly websites that align with our client's business goals and branding. Your primary responsibilities will include designing the layout, graphics, and overall look and feel of a website, and working closely with our web development team to ensure that the website is functional and easy to navigate.

• Design and create visually appealing website layouts
• Develop and implement design elements that are consistent across all pages of the website
• Create and edit graphics, images, and videos for use on the website
• Ensure that the website is optimized for search engines and that it conforms to web standards
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to gather information on user needs, business goals, and design requirements
• Stay up-to-date with the latest web design trends and technologies

Need-To-Haves:

• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Web Design, or a related experience
• Proven experience as a web designer
• Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other web development languages
• Expertise in design software such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
• Strong understanding of user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) design principles
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

Love-To-Haves:

• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Web Design, or a related field
• Prior experience with social media and blog
• Bonus points for tool and equipment industry knowledge
