Diesel Mechanic Job at RWN Pump and Fabrication
Immediately hiring for a Diesel mechanic.
Hired candidate will be working in the mechanic shop and be responsible for completing equipment units at the end of production. Role can include, but is not limited to, parts/wiring installation, inspecting, analyzing, troubleshooting, general diagnostics, preventative maintenance, repairing, and refurbishing of diesel engines, equipment, and components.
Required:
- Must have your own basic tools
- Be able to easily and comfortably lift 50+ lbs.
- Strong knowledge of deisel engines/motors
- Strong working knowledge of basic mechanic’s tools
- Competency in a mechanic shop environment
- 2 or more years experience working with large or heavy equipment diesel engines.
Preferred candidate qualifications:
- Rebuilding pump-ends for water transfer equipment experience
- Strong ability to troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, diesel engine problems
- Prior experience specializing or working with Deutz, John Deere, Pioneer, Perkins, or Isuzu diesel engines and motors.
