Job description

The Delivery Driver/Warehouse worker is responsible for pulling products per a picking ticket and delivering those products to a designated facility. This position is unique as we are offering, Monday -Friday, 6:30 AM-3:30PM.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

Report to the warehouse and run orders from inventory software to begin pulling delivery.

Pull all products and load on the delivery vehicle.

Driving a delivery van or box truck.

Delivery of product using a handcart.

Be prepared for orders and deliveries multiple times per day.

Receiving product from vendors at warehouse location to be rotated and put away at warehouse.

Follow established procedures for delivery, inventory, and securing of money collected.

Physical Requirements

Able to climb in and out of truck cab and box multiple times a day.

Be on your feet throughout the day in customer facilities.

Load and unload product with an average weight of 35 pounds.

Individuals will be required to frequently push/pull a hand cart with up to 200 pounds up to distances of 500 feet.

Be sober and with all faculties while on the job or in a company vehicle.

Alcohol and/or drug use is not permitted during business hours, while working as a Capitol Coffee representative, or in a company vehicle.

Drives truck and delivers such items as chips, soft drinks, bottled water, fresh foods, snacks, candy etc. to businesses.

Driver is responsible for managing inventory of markets and vending machines.

Put away and rotate all stock.

Each market and vending machine should be fully faced before leaving.

Driver must keep and maintain a cleaning kit to perform daily cleaning of vehicle as required.
