Applicant must be at least 23 years of age and have 5 years driving experience.

Routes available in Ephrata, Palmyra, Shippensburg, Harrisburg and surrounding areas.

Van Drivers: $10.00- $12.00 per hour /// M-F, hours vary but usually 2 hours in the AM and 2 hours in the PM /// Openings in all locations

CDL Bus Drivers: $17.50 - $20.00 per hour /// M-F, hours vary but usually 2 hours in the AM and 2 hours in the PM /// Openings in Shippensburg and Harrisburg area

CDL Drivers Activities Bus: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour /// Evenings only for sports trips and after school activities /// Dauphin and Lebanon Counties

Driver Duties:

• Ensures students are transported to and from school, field trips, and other activities.
• Ensures students are delivered to proper drop-off points.
• Maintains a log of daily mileage to include regular routes and extra duty activity routes.
• Maintains discipline and order of students and other passengers while in the bus.
• Reviews the condition of the bus prior to driving, to ensure the vehicle is in proper working condition. Report repairs needed and add fluids as needed, such as gas, oil, and water.
• Cleans the interior of the vehicle, including wiping down seats and cleaning windows.
• Ensures the exterior of the vehicle is clean
• Prepares student conduct reports as needed.
• Attends meetings, trainings, etc. for the purpose of maintaining skills and meeting District and State requirements.
• Follows school and student schedules.
