We are seeking a Finance Associate with a positive attitude and high ethical standards to join our Development practice at our corporate headquarters in Arlington, VA.
What the Finance Associate will be doing:
- Performing project accounting duties such as processing payables and receivables, sales and personal property taxes, business license filings and license renewals, credit applications, and other accounting functions.
- Prepare monthly and annual financial statements.
- Assisting with the management of subcontractor risk mitigation program.
- Assisting with internal and third-party audits.
- Assisting with partnership and corporate tax compliance.
- Assisting with property and liability insurance compliance.
- Managing an orderly electronic filing system.
- Assisting with special projects as assigned.
- A Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or business preferred.
- 1-2 years accounting experience a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Excel and Word.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- $65,000 - $68,000 Per Year
