HUBZone Administrative Assistant Job at JR Software Solutions Inc
JR Software Solutions, Inc. is currently seeking candidates from HUBZone areas to support our growth. HUBZone (historically underutilized business zones) areas are typically areas of low median household incomes or high unemployment, or both. HUBZone program helps civilians in urban and rural communities. It also provides federal contracting assistance to qualified small firms located in historically underutilized business zones to increase employment opportunities, stimulate capital investment in those areas, and empower communities through economic leveraging. You must reside in a qualifying HUBZone location to be part of the HUBZone Internship Program.
These positions only require 40 hours a month.

This position will require the performance of a variety of office activities. The successful candidate is comfortable working independently and can take initiative to interpret and use guidelines, including unwritten office processes and practices.
Responsibilities:
- Manages incoming office email boxes
- Answers telephone and manages voicemail
- Performs daily searches via online government systems for solicitations and contracts
- Assists with the preparation of internal/external meetings including coordination of schedules, inviting attendees, reserving space, tracking and following up on meeting items
- Reviews, sorts, and/or files incoming mail, and deliveries
- Updates and maintains Constant Contact
- Checks website monthly for broken links or missing certifications
- Provide support to, and if required, attends company-hosted events
- Assists with other administrative tasks as needed
Required Qualifications:
- Working knowledge of a computer, printer, and fax machine
- Proficient in the use of MS Office Outlook, Word and Excel
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
- Attention to detail
- Good verbal communication skills
- High School Diploma
- Experience as an administrative assistant or project coordinator is a plus
