[Hybrid] PLM Analyst (Engineering Industry exp req.) Description
Our client, in the oil and gas industry, is looking for a PLM Analyst to add to their team in Houston, TX. While this position is primarily remote, you must commute to the Houston engineering lab to troubleshoot and test during project phases. In this role, you will support end users and act as the liaison between application developers and engineers to support the design, development, and delivery of engineering solutions. To be successful in this role, you must have a minimum of six years of progressive experience in engineering tools, applications, and processes. Our client is looking for someone with strong hands on solution experience with a PLM foundation focused on engineering. [Hybrid] PLM Analyst (Engineering Industry exp req.) Responsibilities
- Provide global functional support to end users
- Configure, test, document, and implement solutions to meet business requirements
- Analyze, design, develop and debug programs to support the customization of Engineering tools
- Document and maintain application development logic, testing, changes, and concerns
- Review of technical design documents, requirements, build, test plans, and development
- Support configuration, maintenance, customizations, and enhancements
- Execute activities to deliver the right solution
- Focus on technologies that lower processing costs to streamline engineering
- Design execution by enabling end-to-end integrations
- Proactively propose "best practices" and standards to correct and improve business processes as related to available tools and applications
- Participate in cross-department meetings
- Mentor, guide, and train other engineering support personnel

- 6+ years of experience in engineering tools, applications, and processes required
- PLM experience focused on engineering required
- Experience working with developers and engineers required
- Experience with PLM tools/software required
