INDUSTRIAL PAINTER

Grand Junction, Colorado

POSITION SUMMARY

The Industrial Painter will be responsible for utilizing a paint gun to spray gallons of paint at once on ski lift and ropeway parts with no deficiencies.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (to include, but not limited to)

o Read and interpret blueprints/instructions and examine ski lift part surfaces to determine the kind and amount of paint necessary

o Clean and prepare work surfaces

o Utilize hand and power tools

o Utilize an air assisted paint gun

o Wash, scrape, sand, and smooth interior and exterior surfaces prior to painting

o Safely operate heavy equipment

o Apply correct paint to a variety of surfaces as appropriate and according to safety guidelines and Leitner-Poma policies

COMPETENCIES, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

· Ability to lift up to 50lbs

· Ability to stand for 8-10 hours a day, 5-6 days a week

· Proficient Communication

· Ability to produce quality products consistently

· Ability to pass a respirator test

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous industrial painting experience
• Valid Driver's License
• Ability to work off shift

Starting Wage $19.00 an hour (depending on experience of candidate)
