We are an established national transportation company focused on the medical field. We’re seeking dedicated 1099 Independent Contractor drivers with a reliable vehicle for scheduled and on-demand work in the Kansas City and surrounding area.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Operate your delivery vehicle safely, securely, and competently at all times under dispatch.
• Use of correct procedures upon handling item(s) during transportation.
• Document that coolers are within proper temperature ranges for transport on sensitive materials.
• Documentation of item(s) being delivered include how many, temperatures, and client's name or employee number upon delivery.
• Scanning parcels upon pickup and delivery.
• Use of a handheld smart device to view notes about the item(s) being picked up and delivered in the area.
• Navigate the city to find the best route for transportation.
• Must be comfortable to drive and work in varied weather conditions.
• Maintain a friendly attitude and provide professional service toward all customer and company staff.
• Maintain a buisness casual and well groomed appearance that includes solid colored polo/company polo, jeans/khakis with no rips or tears present as well as closed toed shoes required.
• Communication skills with dispatch and manager.
• Coverage of routed couriers. (will discuss in interview)
• Perform other related duties as necessary.

Requirements

• Covid-19 Vaccinated
• Bloodborne Pathogen and HIPPA compliance certifications (link will be provided)
• Valid Driver's License
• At least 21 years of age or older
• Use of own vehicle
• Smart handheld device with required application
• Must pass a background check
• Must pass a motor vehicle record check
• Auto insurance with the liability limits at $100k/$300k bodily injury and $50k property damages.
• Preform physical demands such as walking, climbing up & downstairs, bending, pulling, lifting 25lbs or more.

Available Positions

• Monday through Friday 4:00pm to midnight
• Saturdays 8:00am to 4:00pm
• Saturdays 4:00pm to midnight
• Sundays 8:00am to 4:00pm
• Sundays 4:00pm to midnight

Daily Routine

• Start at hub to pickup required items such as dry ice and making sure your ice packs that you start with are frozen.
• Checking in to dedicated dispatcher prior to shift starting.
• Acknowledgement that you are available in the 8 hours you're dedicated to.
• Complete all orders/jobs dispatch assigned for the 8 hours.
• Complete day by checking out with dispatch.

• Minimum guarantee of $150/day and the possibility to make more daily.
