Premier Dental Group PLLC of Knoxville is hiring an EXPERIENCED RDA. We are a multi-speciality practice and need someone with great communication skills, people person, organized, and leader to take charge of our clinic. You will work DIRECTLY with the OPERATIONS MANAGER DAILY!
We are looking for a competent dental assistant who will make the dentist’s office more efficient and pleasant for patients. You’ll ensure excellent customer service and lift administrative and basic dental tasks off the dentist’s shoulders. Dental assistants should be well-organized with great attention to detail. You should be able to follow instructions and respect dental office regulations. We want you to be skilled in providing direct or indirect patient care and able to make office procedures as smooth as possible.
Duties Include but not limited to:
- Making sure we stay within monthly budget for ordering
- Sterilization of instruments
- ATTENTION TO DETAIL
- Understanding of health and safety regulations (OSHA) (HIPAA)
- Proven Dental Assistant Skills
- Price negotiations with vendors
- Treatment Planning
- Scheduling of Assistants
- Making sure everyone gets a lunch break
- Making sure doctors are staying on schedule
- Assisting the Dentist
- Making sure daily clinical checklist is completed
- Scanning with Primescan
- Sprintray for orthodontics labs and general dentistry printing
- Assigning duties for clinical staff
Qualifications:
- Tennessee RDA License
- TEAM PLAYER
- Great Communicator
- Excellent at Treatment Planning & Treatment Phasing
- NON Confrontational
- Organizational Skills
- Math Skills
- Primescan Experience (willing to train)
- Sprintray Experience (willing to train)
- Orthodontic, Endodontic, Oral Surgery, & General Dentistry Experience (willing to train in Orthodontics if needed)
- Eaglesoft Experience
- Digital Radiographs
- Nitrous Oxide Certification Required (if not certified must get certification within 90 days)
- Radiograph Certification
- Sealant Certification (if not certified must get certification within 90 days)
- EFDA (HUGE PLUS, will pay additional for this certification)
