Lindsay Corporation is hiring a new Lead – Final Assembly. This position will serve as the primary contact within the Final Assembly department, be responsible for reporting KPIs daily, provide ongoing training and work in partnership with the Supervisor to ensure the team has what they need to be successful.

Position Details

This is a full-time position located at our newly remodeled manufacturing facility located in Olathe, KS. This is a 1st shift position. Hours are Monday thru Thursday 6:00am to 3:30pm. Friday 6:00am to 2:30pm. Every-other-Friday off. Occasional extension of typical hours may be necessary, dependent upon business needs. Pay increase potential after 90-days. Eligible for quarterly production bonus!

Duties & Responsibilities

• Work well with a team and collaborate with people from other departments.
• Discern quality of parts and materials used in production.
• Inventory parts and tools used in the assembling process.
• Follow company procedures and directives.
• Maintain the tools used to create products.
• Keep a clean and well-maintained workspace.
• Work closely with the assembly team to ensure all products produced meet quality standards and on-time-delivery goals.

Qualifications

• 2 to 4 years electronic manufacturing experience preferred
• Ability to lead and train
• Quick learner with ability to retain information
• Detail oriented
• Ability to create and interpret technical documentation
• Basic computer skills such as emailing, record keeping, ordering, inventory management and form filing
• Willingness to work occasional overtime as needed
• High school diploma, or equivalent, required
• Must be proficient in writing, reading, and speaking the English language

Physical Requirements

• Physical fitness and strength to lift and operate heavy electrical machinery up to 50 pounds
• Must be able to stand for extended periods of time
