Responsibilities of Position:

• Leads the development and maintenance of plant financial data in compliance with company policies and procedures and in compliance with IFRS practices. Responsible for development and maintenance of plant-related fiduciary controls.

• Directs plant accounting functions including financial inventory of raw material, accounting work-in-process (WIP), and finished goods.

• Participates in preparation of annual and monthly plant and departmental budgets to develop standard costs for all company products.

• Provides production with cost analysis. Initiates investigations of areas of potential cost reduction and prepares appropriate studies and recommendations.

• Analyzes proposals for capital outlays to determine reasonableness of any benefits claimed and economics of alternative choices. All projects, whether treated for accounting purposes, as capital investments or expenses must be included in above.

• Prepares data for and cooperates in monthly closing, reporting and financial analysis as requested.

• Maintains product bills-of-material.

• Participates in developing and maintaining upgraded “smart” part numbering system.

• Provides support to the Director of Finance.

• This person needs to drive business performance through financial driven initiatives at Conway

Experience/Education Required/Sought:

• BS in Accounting; CPA preferred; MBA preferred

• Experiences in plant cost systems, production and inventory control, budgeting and forecasting required.

• 8-10 years' work experience in accounting; manufacturing experience required, demonstrated managerial & leadership skills.

• Experience in the implementation and integration of MRP, ERP systems.
