Location: Waco, TX - This is an ON-SITE position, we do not have any WFH positions available so all candidates must be local to the Waco, TX area.

Start Date: Immediately

Hours: Varies per month depending on events scheduled. Each event can last anywhere from 2 to 5 hours.

JOB SUMMARY: This position will assist in the production, setup, and execution of all events for Mathnasium.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF POSITION INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:

• Assist in the production, setup, teardown, and execution of assigned events for a specific region. These events include, but are not limited to, school events (fall fests, spring flings, Math Night events, etc.), community events (trunk or treats, easter egg hunts, festivals, etc.) and in center game nights and holiday parties if needed.
• Help coordinate and run events. Playing games with kids, interacting with parents, care givers, teachers, etc.
• Assist in maintaining inventory logs of all equipment used for events.
• Setup and tear down tables, chairs, event canopy and balloons, pipe and drape, and other items as needed.
• Perform maintenance and preventive maintenance projects to keep all inventory in working conditions.
• Must be able to lift/load/unload up to 50lbs.
• Other duties as assigned.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Ability to interact with kids and parents in a manner that represents Mathnasium as a family friendly business, replicating the environment that exists within our centers.
• Driver’s license and personal transportation required.
• Ability to set up rooms by interpreting diagrams and follow oral and written instructions with attention to detail and last minute updates or requests.
• Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to successfully communicate with the public, other employees, live production and communications staff, and vendors.
• Most events occur during evening and weekend hours.
