We are located in the Pierce County Industrial Park, in between Blackshear and Waycross, GA. We are looking for a Plug & Mold Builder to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate for this position would possess knowledge and experience in all aspects of tooling construction including pattern construction, mold lamination, steel bracing, and final finishing.

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift (6:00am to 4:40pm), Monday through Thursday.
• Half day of overtime on Friday is sometimes required.

Responsibilities:

• Fabricate and assemble wood and fiberglass according to blueprints and specifications to form original plugs and molds.
• Repair or modify existing molds.
• Perform fiberglass and composite lamination of molds and prototype parts.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Ability to read blueprints and attention to detail required.
• Experience with hand tools and power tools (table saws, chop saws, grinders, sanders, drills, buffers, etc.) required.
• Experience with fiberglass construction and finishing required.
• Experience and success in a similar plug and mold building position preferred.
• Ability to weld a plus, but not required.

Compensation and Benefits:

• Compensation range: from $18 to $34 per hour (rate based on experience) with rapid advancement potential based on ability and performance.
