Your Key Responsibilities

  • Ensures utilization of generic business specific (multi-) Project Management methods and tools, and ensures capacity and resource planning across project portfolio in accordance with the strategic direction.
  • Manage and Facilitate the Scheduling, Coordination, and Planning (SCP) processes for New Product Launches from Product Inception through the Production Process Approval (PPAP), and Early Production Containment (EPC) for a Successful Phase into Production, Using PEP Project guidelines.
  • Production Relocation and Production Transfers / Localizations
  • Lead Internal Projects
  • Provide Guidance to other departments on Project Management tools
  • The PMO Professional is responsible for the success of the project

Your Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

  • Associates Degree with concentration in Technical Curriculum, or Extensive Experience in this field.
  • Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Computer literate with skill using MS: Outlook, Excel, Word
  • Ability to Impact deadlines using assertiveness for quick resolutions
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Assertiveness in achieving goals and reaching project milestones

Preferred Qualifications

  • B.S. Degree in Industrial Engineering/Manufacturing Engineering/Business Management or Equivalent Education
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) Certification
  • Familiarity with Advance Quality Planning Techniques
  • Computer literate with advanced skills using MS: Access, Project, and PowerPoint

Position Tasks

  • Contributes to the development of general project management policies as well as to respective guidelines and ensures compliance for all projects under review.
  • Maintains and reports project portfolio regarding project status, progress, maturity level, capacities and resource as well as potential risk factors.
  • Coordinates reviews of the projects, administration and documentation and plans, coordinates PM training and coaching of PM’s.
  • Calculates needs and assessments and capacity forecasts (internal/external) and provides guidance on prioritization to the budget accountable management.
  • Facilitate Launch Meetings-Providing Status to Management
  • Create and Modify Timelines for each Project
  • Track Tooling and Raw Material Orders (Internal & External)
  • Escalate Potential Problems / Issues to Management in a timely manner
  • Meet agreed project Targets (Quality, Cost, and Delivery)
  • Advance Product Quality Planning (APQP)
