Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience in operations, vendor management, contracting out, location strategy, and program management.
  • Experience in operational strategy and workforce planning, partnering with many cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Ability to influence cross-functionally in a matrix organization.
  • Ability to lead and develop leaders to foster a culture of integrity, service excellence, accountability, innovation, and best practice sharing across sites and functions.
  • Effective analytical, problem-solving, verbal, written communication, and collaboration skills exhibited in a complex operational setting.

The YouTube Global Scaled Operations (GSO) team develops practical and innovative ways to address some of the most complex business challenges to keep YouTube thriving. We anticipate how decisions are made, persistently explore and uncover the business needs of our key clients, and understand how our range of product and service offerings can enable their business success. We also lead the global vendor strategy across all organizations, manage business risks, ensure we have great agreements, and deliver amazing client experiences for YouTube’s customers and partners. We provide YouTube-caliber client service, legal guidance, research, and market analysis. As a Vendor Management Lead, you will set the goals, drive scaled operations, and service delivery across all YouTube vendor sites globally. In this role, you will focus on service delivery where we align vendor teams to deliver goals, help identify process gaps, and performance variances across business lines/verticals so we can create models that drive better results for our business.

Additional Information:

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $150,000-$238,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.

Responsibilities

  • Manage oversight of vendor operations for Trust and Safety reviewers, ensuring a balance between high-quality work, adherence with production/metrics expectations, and moderator health and wellbeing. Drive operational excellence across Vendor Management functions through cross-functional projects.
  • Lead and partner with Enforcement and Operations teams to enhance workflows via process improvements and tooling recommendations. Deliver reports and recommendations on Trust and Safety operational metrics and enforcement strategy, including at the executive level.
  • Mitigate crisis incidents that pose risk to users or our brand, and weigh risks and balances between safety and privacy. Act as escalation points where needed, including time-sensitive escalations from operations teams and internal stakeholders.
  • Drive and implement new initiatives in the Vendor Management organization, and increase standardization across verticals. Build SOPs for Trust and Safety Vendor Operations and bring in cross-vertical synergy.
